Water Clarity 2 feet

Sam Rayburn has started to come up  this week and is now at 164.83

Bass ;   Stanley Top  Toad is one my Favorite baits early in the morning around the pepper grass and edges of the hay grass. Lots of top water baits will work this time of year so have some fun. When things slow down we have been getting the wacky worms out and working the grass real slow and catching some nice fish. The crankbait bite has been fair with some fish caught in the 6 to 12 feet range.   Pulling them down to the grass and slowly working back to the boat.  There are a lot of fish out deep in the off shore structure and they been hard to find and even harder to get to bite. The Carolina rig and Jigs have been the two best baits out there so get after them.  Big old monster worms in red bug, watermelon red and pumpkin seed  have been the best three colors.

Crappie;  The wind has been blowing this last week and the crappie fishing has turned fair   How about 110 crappie with six guys fishing a full day. These guys could fish and it showed in their catch.  There have been a lot of Crappie caught around the 147 bridge.  It a good place to get out of the sun, set back, relax, and catch a few fish. The Crappie have been getting into their summer patterns.  We have had some good days with some pretty good Crappie.  The average trip has been getting 50 and the best trip,  110.   Lots of folks are getting Dad and Mom or the kids out of the house to enjoy a day on the water.  The new pontoon has plenty of room for everyone so get your group booked for a summer trip.  There is plenty of shade and we have two fans to help you keep cool along with a changing room and port- o- potty, just in case. We love to watch the kids catch fish. The excitement on the boat is just unbelievable as the kids

God Bless
