The water temperature down in the mid 60s we’ll start to see more fish move up and get more active as we head into the late fall season. There will be days the fish want plastic and days they want something to chase. We still have lots of  hydrilla to fish. Senko’s and flukes have been getting some action along with the Stanley Top Toads if they want to chase something. We have been throwing a few of the Baby Ribbits and fish like them. Small shad are everywhere and that’s what they are feeding on. That’s a good color to start with when throwing spinner baits or crank baits in shad color. Sometimes covering a lot of water in the fall to catch a lot of fish can be loads of fun. We’ve been catching a few fish in 8 to 14 ft of water off points and creek channels on Stanley Football Jigs and Carolina rigs. Work them slow or dead stick them. Good Luck

Sharelunker Program

Remember the Sharelunker Program entries started on October 1 and run thru April 30th. If you haven’t heard, it encourages anglers who catch a 13 - pound- plus largemouth bass to lend or donate it to the TPWD for spawning purposes. There are some great benefits doing this and one of them is that the angler receives a fiberglass replica of the bass. There is a 24- hour pager at 1-888-784-0600 Check out the Program rules at their site along with the Benefits. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/visitorcenters/tffc/sharelunker/

White Bass:
White Bass will start to make their run up river and we will be booking trips for them on the pontoon for the winter run. So don’t wait.

Crappie;

The Crappie fishing picked up last week as we stumbled across a few places holding some great fish. Getting out on cool fall days and having fun with your friends and family is the best. Grab the kids and friends then come out to enjoy a day on the water. Everyone has loved the new pontoon with the shade, changing room and the port-o-potty. We can handle up to 8 anglers.

Gift Certificates:

We have Gift Certificates that are good for 1 year for all special people in your life.

Now is the time to get your boats down to the shop for service. Get that old water changed out drain and refill the lower unit oil a new set of plugs and any other service that may need done. That way it will be ready when you come out of the woods from hunting. It’s a lot better to get it service now then wait till something goes wrong and cost you big money and time off the water this spring.

God Bless
